Farnborough store ginger beard staff - unprofessional
A staff with the ginger beard was so rude to us, based in Farnborough store, he was so unprofessional. I was looking for a dog harness that will fit my dog, he said he is busy at the moment and will ask someone to help us, we waited for 15 mins and no one are there to help.
My daughter noticed him was just walking around and wasn’t really doing anything.
We are very disappointed, won’t be coming back again.

Item collected along with a new purchase in store. Efficient service with a helpful attitude and smile from member of staff
Unsatisfactory experience
Slow, unresponsive website (even using Google Chrome as advised on mobile).
Product filter continually resetting my selected options.
Bulky items unavailable for both delivery and 'click and collect' - no facility to back order thereby making most of the online order redundant and incurring a delivery charge as "minimum order value" (for free delivery) not reached.
Unhelpful 'robotchat' and at least 15 minutes wait to speak to a human, which was impractical at the point of checkout.
Discount incentives to shop online were made redundant by out of stock items.
When contacting customer service - 'chat icon' continually obscured options and typing, thereby making it even more difficult to submit a complaint / feedback.
An altogether frustrating and unsatisfactory experience.

I wanted to replace a dog toy quickly so thought Pets at home would be a safe bet especially when they offer next day delivery even if it costs £4.70 extra only thing is their next day delivery takes 4 days and you have to send 2 emails and ring the shop so you can get your delivery payment back.
DON'T BUY OFF THESE PEOPLE THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND MAKE YOU WAIT

Easy to order and was ready to collect next working day. A polite member of staff brought the items to me at the front of the shop. Greeted me with a smile, and was willing to assist on anything else.

Good resolution with problem order
You know true good customer service when things go wrong. I have had no problems with online deliveries previously but one delivery had most items missing and the one item that was delivered was damaged. Contacted agent via online help and was given the option of a reorder or refund. Originally I wanted a reorder - but my items were out of stock so was given a refund and a voucher for the inconvenience caused.

The wrong dog food was delivered, I contacted PAH through their online help and John immediately arranged a rush delivery of the correct food. The service could not have been better.

So quick and easy to order and pay online. I had a text to say my order was ready to collect within the hour. Quick and easy to collect in store too, I waited less than a minute. I would definitely use this system again to order in the future.

Great service polite staff especially as the hottest day of the year. When I saw the bed I paid the difference and moved up to a large bed, as I think medium was a bit small for Labrador dog. Not a problem though. Lovely quality bed

Service fine, but item had been pre-used
Was pleased to be able to today collect a dog ramp I ordered yesterday, giving me time to familiarise my dog with it before he has an op as I will be unable to lift him into the car after his op. I noticed the cardboard packaging was torn but wasn't over-concerned about this as it happens. I wasn't pleased however to find after unpacking the ramp that it had obviously been pre-used as the feet had marks on them and my dog coud obviously smell that another dog had used the ramp.
When looking for other items in the store, the same type of ramp was on a shelf and I assume this was in new condition and question why I was given a pre-used ramp rather than the one on the shelf. As I travelled some distance to collect the ramp and had limited time, I did not return it, otherwise I would have done so.
